This drop in part for your Ruger 10/22 adds a Weaver type scope mount to your rifle. It is designed to attach to all Volquartsen bull barrels and uses a set screw at the rear of the mount for tension against the receiver to increase the rigidity of the mount. This type of mount will always be aligned with the barrel even if there is variance between the barrel and receiver. 

Barrels not made by Volquartsen will need to be drilled and tapped before this mount may be used. This mount is also available in black from Hawktech Arms.
